It is a long and labourous process, where people draw the different traditional designs on fabrics and paint them using natural dyes.
This has been paired with beautiful Ikat fabric, which is inherently a resist dyeing technique. It is different from other resist dyeing techniques as the resist is used on individual yarns instead of the resultant fabric. This is a beautiful and rich pairing, which can enlighten your entire outfit in a second.
