Our Kalam Batik Cotton Kurtis are a celebration of two beautiful Indian art forms – the free-flowing strokes of Kalam painting and the intricate depth of Batik wax printing. Each fabric is first hand-painted by artisans using kalam (pen/brush) techniques and then treated with the Batik process, resulting in striking textures, layered colours and unique artistic patterns.

Crafted on premium 60*60 cotton, these kurtis offer exceptional comfort while beautifully showcasing the earthy, artistic charm of Batik. The 2.5m length gives ample room for elegant tailoring, whether you prefer a straight fit, A-line, or a flowy silhouette. With a 44-inch width, the fabric is also suitable for plus-size stitching.

These kurtis are ideal for daily wear, workwear, creative styling, or casual outings. Their hand-drawn designs give them an artisanal warmth—each piece is slightly different, making your kurti genuinely one of a kind. Pair with oxidized jewellery or earthy accessories to complete the look.

Note: Minor variations in colour, texture, or paint strokes are a natural part of hand-painted Batik and highlight the individuality of each piece.

All Measurements are that of the garment. If your chest size (body) is 38, please make sure you order size M40 or L42 depending on how loose you like to wear your garments.

Can you ship my items via expedited shipping?
We understand that sometimes there is an urgency in receiving the items due to several reasons. Please contact us before placing an order so we can confirm that the items can be delivered by the desired delivery date. An additional shipping fees might be applicable.

How long does it take to get my items delivered?
Domestic: We ship the items within 1-2 working days. It takes about 4-5 business days to get the items delivered to different parts of India. During busy periods like the various festivals, it might take about 7-8 days. IndiaPost may take longer to deliver items in remote locations. Please contact us for further information.
Any stitched items take about 5-8 days for stitching.
International: Atlantic Couriers take about 4-10 days based on the delivery location. EMS takes about 8-15 days based on the delivery location.
