Fabric Handloom Maheshwari Silk with zari bootis all over.¬†

Some Factors which result in differing cost of the fabric:
1. Handloom vs Powerloom: A simple handloom maheshwari saree (no complex borders), takes about 3 days to make. The same saree on a powerloom takes about 1/2 a day. Both of them have their costs.
2. Threads: 1 ply/2 ply/3 ply silk yarn that is used.
3. Combinations: A 1m yardage with 1 thread of silk and One with 50 threads of silk out of 100 are both silk by cotton
4. Type of weave: Is it a missing checks or is it same all over, are there lines (Dobby) etc.
5. Other accessories: Zari threads in the fabric/jute threads/other silks etc will increase the costs
6. Weaving complexity: Bootis on fabrics, elaborate pallu designs/border designs - all account for increased costs.
