Madhubani is a beautiful artform from the town of Madhubani in Bihar. Madhubani was traditionally carved out of the Darbhanga district in 1972. Most commonly, fish, flowers, birds, peacocks are involved in Madhubani/Mithila paintings. More reformed artisans also include pictures from Ramayana or Mahabharata (Specially Lord Krishna with Gopis) in their paintings.
Paired with Ajrakh Block Print from Gujarat. Naturally dyed, floral and geometric designs in double and triple block fabrics.
