Batik is a special kind of wax-resist dyeing used to produce different patterns on clothes. Here, different blocking media, mainly wax, are used to block some areas on a cloth from getting dyed. This results in a white print on a darker background, giving a striking and beautiful contrast. Originating from Indonesia and China, these prints are increasingly becoming popular in India due to their attractive designs and rough-and-tough prints.
Wash Instructions: Handloom fabrics tend to bleed during the initial washes. Please do not soak them or dry them under direct sunlight. First wash dry clean is recommended.
