Colours may vary slightly due to a difference in fabric and digital colours.
Bagh hand block print originates from the town of Bagh in Madhya Pradesh. It gets its unique name from the river Bagh, at the side of which, all the block print fabrics are washed and dried. The distinct colours are known to be attained from the water of this particular river, and are therefore not easily copied in other cities. Bagh block prints usually contain paisleys, flowers, and recently geometric motifs.
Wash instructions: Handloom fabrics tend to bleed in the initial washes due to the presence of natural dyes. Please do not soak them in water, as that can lead to the overlapping of colours. Wash and dry them in shade. First wash dry cleaning is recommended as that is known to strengthen the colours leading to less bleeding further on.
